A couple of years ago, I secretly made him a May basket, proceeded to sneak out of the motorhome, knocked on the outside door and Larry answered. I proudly handed him the basket and shouted as I began to ran away, "Come and catch me!" Off we went running at full speed through a Super Walmart parking lot. Out of breath Larry finally cornered me as I entered the outdoor garden center. People looked at us with curiosity probably thinking I had shoplifted something and a manager was chasing me. Then Larry grabbed me, pulled me into his arms, and kissed me. We were giggling hysterically and everyone looking on chuckled at, I am sure, a comical sight.
We've been crisscrossing from Pennsylvania to Michigan to Indiana and back to Michigan these last few weeks. Last Sunday we were in Jonesville, MI, at the Hillsdale Assembly of God pastored by Dennis and Joyce Haarer. We have had the pleasure of ministering in their church before, and they, too, are a sweet and tender couple.
A touching moment in the service was when we asked Ray and Carol Curran to give a testimony of what happened in their lives when we ministered there in 2004. Ray shared the following,
"We were religious people doing the religious thing but never had a relationship with Christ. We were never happy. Then one day, our friends, Bill and Donna Miller, invited us to come to church to hear Larry and Gloria Lundstrom. They said we would enjoy the singing and the preaching. We agreed to accompany our friends. We listened to their music and their time of ministry and loved it. Then, Larry preached about a relationship with Christ…not religion. When he gave the altar call, the Holy Spirit moved on our hearts and we stepped forward to the altar and prayed the sinner's prayer. Wow…what a change! We now have a personal relationship with Christ. Our lives have never been the same. Since we came to Christ, several of our children and their families have gotten saved. We are so thankful our friends, the Millers, invited us to church or this would have never happened."
This time when we ministered at Hillsdale Assembly of God, Ray and Carol invited a couple of their friends and they were saved. It is testimonies like these that give us the strength and perseverance to keep pushing on the road. The bible says in John 12:32 "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." If we are faithful to go and to lift Him up, the Holy Spirit does the rest…He draws them unto Himself.
Have a great week and I wish a very special Mother's Day to all of you mothers who give your heart and soul to fulfill this extraordinary calling on your life.
Why did God make mothers?
1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
2. Mostly to clean the house.
How did God make mothers?
1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?
1. We're related.
What kind of little girl was your mom?
1. My mom has always been my mom and none of that other stuff.
2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.
Who's the boss at your house?
1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball.
2. Mom. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed.
What's the difference between moms and dads?
1. Moms work at work and work at home, & dads just go to work at work.
2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.
3. Dads are taller & stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friend's.
What does your Mom do in her spare time?
1. Mothers don't do spare time.
If you could change one thing about your Mom, what would it be?
1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.
2. I'd make my Mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it and not me.
3. I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on her back of her head.

Easy Decorating
Change accent pillows each season for a cheaper way to be trendy without redoing a whole room.
Slipcovers are the easiest way to make furniture look new. Consider reversible ones - a wintry color on one side and a summery white linen on the other. If you're looking for someone to sew a slipcover, check the bulletin boards in fabric stores or ask the clerks.

ful Sunday morning service at New Hope Church in Winter Haven, FL with Pastor Dennis and Delma Gipson. We've been coming to this church nearly every 2 years since about 1995. The church continues to grow with lots of children, teenagers, and young couples. When Pastor Dennis introduced us he said, "Larry and Gloria Lundstrom really don't need an introduction…when they are in the area I always invite them to come to our church because I know they will give a clear salvation message and an altar call."

marriages and a divorce rate that is reaching catastrophic proportions, we know that our marriage has braved the storms of life because we are fused with God.
Jesus Christ. Recommit your life to Him. Then recommit your mate and marriage to Him, and you will begin a new adventure in your marriage relationship. If you will pray and play together, your marriage will stay together."
temps. He got held up in traffic on the interstate due to accidents. They all made it home safely. Children and traveling sure keeps Mom and Dad praying! LaDawn and the grandkids arrived on Dec. 24th, just a couple hours earlier than Donovan. That's about as close to Christmas Eve as you can get!
After that we went back to our home and opened some gifts. What a joy it was for Larry and I to hear all the laughter, sibling stories, and giggles from the grandchildren. The house was alive until about 2am. We played games and snacked, etc. We were all so tired, but no one wanted to miss out on one moment of Christmas.
around the fireplace and watched old videos of the children when they were young. What a precious time. On Friday after Christmas we had a Larry Lundstrom family bowling party. We were the only ones in the bowling alley. What fun! Of course, I was the overseer, I watched everyone else bowl and my excuse was that I didn't want to show them up. (Actually, since my leg injury 3 years ago, I am still unable to do a few things.)
our son. I didn't want to let him go, but away he went. A couple hours later, LaDawn and Dante packed the car and off they went. I walked back into the living room and the silence was defining. All the laughter, giggles, and hustle and bustle was gone - it was total silence.

Lowell and Connie's home. There is nothing like family gatherings. Larry was able to be with his two brothers, Leon and Lowell, and their families. Talk about food, fun and fellowship....we experienced it all! It was great fun!
show. About 9,000 people are expected to attend this special Christmas event. About 15 of the Lundstrom family are involved. Myanna loves being with all of her cousins.
snow skiing but decided against it. Both the boys were disappointed, but they decided to go bowling instead. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise....Larry....on a tube...on a steep hill....hmmmm...I don't know about that! I really didn't want him to end up in a body cast anyway. HA! Dante'
